Amanda Linn combines her background as a photographer, a client-friendly and service-oriented small business owner, and an educator based in Vincennes, Indiana.

Photography is a calling for Amanda Linn, professionally and educationally. Amanda’s fine art photography career was born in Dec. 2019 after graduating from the Academy of Arts with an MFA degree in the Fine Arts. She explores the darkness and light on the personal journey of constructing one’s identity. As a woman fine art portrait photographer and a small business owner, she is inspired by intense strength it takes to not give in to the cookie-cutter social mold. 

After being a portrait photographer for years, she realized her love of expressive storytelling. Amanda works from a place of metaphoric theme and gravitates more towards universal struggles of the personal journey of identity development.

The exploration of her images come from personal emotional conflicts; the goal in creating is not only to investigate her inner struggles; her greatest wish is to show others a part of themselves. Art is a mirror for the creator and the observer.
